When I needed to lose a few pounds, a friend recommended yoga to me. I was surprised, because I always thought of yoga as a form of meditation that wasn't too physical. Thanks to the Yoga Studio, I learned that yoga is actually great exercise, I even sweat! I see that my body is more sculpted and tone than it used to be and I couldn’t be happier with my new shape."
My wife and I signed up for the 30 day challenge and have been loving getting to do yoga every day. The instructors are incredibly nice and have really been instrumental in helping me improve my practice. I am very inexperienced in yoga, but the instructors are amazing at making you feel comfortable while also improving your poses. In the first two weeks of my 30 day challenge, I can see huge improvement in my form, flexibility, and I've even lost 7 pounds. I would recommend In Balance Yoga to anyone looking for a fantastic way to get healthy, calm your mind, and interact with amazing people.
I took 30 classes in 30 days. This experience has been extremely challenging, life-changing, exciting, calming and ultimately the most incredible experience. We are all so fortunate to practice in this studio with such dedicated, caring, fun and motivational instructors and great support for each other.
I started practicing yoga last September while I was training for my first half marathon. Throughout my training I was never sore and didn’t have any injuries. After the half marathon, I wasn’t sore and felt great. In the spring, I trained for my second half marathon, following the same training program as before but I did not make the time in my training to practice yoga. After the second half marathon, I was so sore, I couldn’t walk for a week and it hurt to sit down. At that time, I also developed plantar fasciitis. I continued to train for my third half marathon and I was sure to incorporate yoga into my training. My third half marathon was a success, I had a great time and I felt strong. I was not sore or injured. I joined a marathon training team, after the first three weeks, I was sore and uncomfortable. My bones and joints were hurting. I have recently started practicing again and I immediately noticed a difference; after experimenting with yoga throughout my past training I am sure to incorporate yoga into my training to avoid injury and soreness.
Yoga is great because I'm a 63 year young man with arthritis in all my joints, and knees that are at times painful. When I take 2 or more classes per week, I feel 20-30 years younger! I can run down the flight of stairs after class, jump on my bike and ride till the cows come home. All my joints; shoulders, elbows and knees all feel refurbished & reconditioned, like I just got a lube job. I swear by it and recommend it to anybody and everybody. I've been a regular hot yoga practitioner for almost 17 yrs. and still, when class is over, I can’t wait until the next one.
